The Friends of Dorchester Abbey wanted to create a garden to enliven the space on the north side of the Abbey grounds, and to create a tranquil retreat for visitors and the local community.  Bramhill Design worked with the Friends group and representatives of the Diocese, to explore options and opportunities for the site, reaching consensus that a herb garden to illustrate the monastic uses of plants was appropriate.
